Altar Flowers:
Today’s altar flowers are given by Eddie & Mary-Eileen Hahn in honor of our Good, Good Father. Placing altar flowers is a meaningful way to remember a loved one or to honor friends and family on special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or other milestones.
A Message from SPRC:
Due to significant changes in her job, Felicia White will be stepping down from her role as the Leader of Young Disciples at Asbury effective May 1st. She is not going anywhere and will continue to work with our children and youth on a volunteer basis. We appreciate Felicia's service to the families of Asbury in recent months. She has loved and led our young people well in her tenure and remains a role model and inspiration to us all.
Monthly Meal and Prayer:
The next Meal and Prayer will be this Wednesday, May 6th at 6:30 in the Fellowship Hall. The topic will be Laying Your Cares at the Foot of the Cross. Please fill out the insert in this bulletin and place it in the offering plate to let us know you are coming.
Picnic in the Park:
Andrews Chapel has invited our church family to join them for their annual picnic and softball game on Sunday, June 14th at the Shallotte Township Park. Lunch will be from Smithfield. Plan to bring a finger food dessert to share.
Community Volunteer Opportunity:
The Town of Ocean Isle and Second Helping 3G need volunteers to help collect food on Saturday Mornings 7:15 -10:30am as visitors leave the island. Food Collected goes to the Brunswick Family Assistance Program. For more information, please contact Vicki & Bert Barman 602-686-2436. See Flyer below.
